Cutting-Edge Electrical Design for Electrical Hall

IGEW Hall : Bartonville, Illinois

PROJECT SIZE & COST

7,416 square feet | $2 million

THE CHALLENGE
The local Electrical Union needed a new hall to accommodate their current and future needs, including the potential for solar panel installation. An exposed ceiling structure meant we needed to creatively route MEP system distribution for aesthetic appeal. A tight budget and unique design required careful coordination.

KED SOLUTION : State-of-the-Art Electrical Design
We worked closely with the architect and owner’s representation to stay within the tight budget. The design called for high ceilings and very specific lighting requirements. We worked closely with the manufacturer to ensure proper lighting levels. A sloped roof meant that the Roof Top Unit (RTU) had to be placed on the ground with the other utilities. We overcame space constraints through utility coordination. KED provided the owner with a cutting-edge design for their Electrical Union Hall, including electrical vehicle charging stations.
