THE CHALLENGE
BigShots Golf in Akron, Ohio was unique in that the owner wanted to build on an existing country club, by turning the club’s existing restaurant and driving range building into a new BigShots Golf facility. This required additional coordination and planning in order to design systems that would both fit the existing structure and the complex franchise system requirements.

KED SOLUTION : Creating all-encompassing designs
We coordinated closely with the project team to ensure the systems would function as needed, as well as match the franchise’s aesthetic. The building required all new MEP/FP systems, as the existing systems were unable to meet the demand of the new facility. As a result, Firestone Country Club, now offers the cutting-edge golf, dining, and entertainment venue for all ages, BigShots Golf, as well as a traditional golf course and country club amenities.
