THE CHALLENGE
The RiverPlex Wellness and Recreation Center needed to replace their aging air handling unit that served their pool. However, there were space constraints with this upgrade, as the new air handling unit could not fit in the same spot as the old unit. As a result of this, the air handler unit was moved to a new location outside the building.

KED SOLUTION : Designing a Highly Efficient, Reliable System
Due to the new unit location, all systems were adjusted to accommodate the change. The new air handling unit was specialized with anti-corroding materials, intended for chlorine processing. The unit also increased efficiency, provides better conditioning of the space, circulates more fresh air into the space, and allows for better temperature control. The RiverPlex Wellness and Recreation Center now not only has a reliable, state-of-the-art air handling unit, but also a more enjoyable, comfortable pool space for their patrons.
