Designing Peoria Park District’s Golf Learning Center

The Golf Learning Center & Academy : Peoria, Illinois

PROJECT SIZE & COST

4,000 square feet | undisclosed

THE CHALLENGE
Peoria Park District wanted to create a new, year-round Golf Learning Center. Being a community project, there were budgetary constraints that added complexity to the project. The facility needed to include all-weather heated bays, a lighted driving range, indoor and outdoor practice greens, indoor hitting stations, and a 9-hole pitch and putt course.

KED SOLUTION : Adhering to Budgetary Constraints
We were hired to design the electrical systems for the facility and worked with a mechanical contractor to provide seamless heating and lighting for both the exterior and interior. We made cost-effective decisions, ensuring the project remained on budget. The center was designed for year-round use and includes a chipping green, putting greens, a 9-hole USGA approved skills course, seasonal hitting nets, and a full-service pro shop.
